Concerning your privacy
We know some readers would rather not be seen reading about the church. This page says plainly what the site collects, and what it does not.
What we do not do
- We do not set cookies, and we do not use browser storage to track you.
- We do not record your screen or track your clicks.
- We do not ask you to sign up, log in, or give your name.
- We do not sell information about readers, and we share it with no one beyond the services named below.
- We do not show advertising.
What we do collect
We use PostHog for simple, anonymous counts of how the site is used. It receives:
- Page views: which page was opened, where the visitor came from, and basic details such as browser, operating system, device type, and screen size.
- Approximate location: PostHog estimates a country, region, and city from your IP address. It is a rough guess, not your address, and it is not tied to your name.
- One action: when you pick a topic on the letters page, we record which topic.
- Errors: if a page breaks, we receive the error so we can fix it.
Nothing is stored in your browser, so a new visit looks like a new visitor, and nothing links your visits together. As with any website, PostHog's servers receive the IP address of each request. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we honor it and send nothing.
Who else handles your request
The site is delivered by Cloudflare, which, like any host, sees your IP address when your browser asks for a page. Their handling is described in their own privacy policy. We do not have access to a list of visitors.
If you write to us
Messages sent to letters@concernednazarenes.com are forwarded to a private inbox. We will use what you tell us only to reply to you, and we will not publish or share it without asking. If you would rather not give a name, you do not have to.
Questions
Write to us at the address above if anything here is unclear. If we change how the site collects information, we will change this page first.
